Located in the heart of Bristol’s independent and arty Stokes Croft, our largest charity shop is a treasure trove of second-hand furniture, homewares, beds, mattresses, electrical items and an ever-changing mix of quirky, vintage and upcycled finds.
Spread across two floors, you’ll find pre-loved furniture downstairs to furnish your space. Head upstairs to discover our ever-changing gallery wall of second-hand art, prints and mirrors. And don’t miss the top floor, it’s packed with bedroom furniture, beds, mattresses, vintage gems, books, vinyl, and clearance steals waiting to be found!
This shop is run by our dedicated team of Emmaus companions – people currently being supported by our homelessness charity – alongside local volunteers. Every purchase helps to provide accommodation, tailored support, training and work experience for our companions.

Donate items to our Stokes Croft charity shop
We are always in need of good quality, saleable donations. If you have unwanted furniture, white goods, clothing, books, vinyl, bric-a-brac or other household items please do drop items off at either our Bedminster or Stokes Croft shops if possible. If not, fill in our donation enquiry form and we’ll get in touch to discuss your donation and see if collection can be arranged.

The Emmaus Bristol shop in Stokes Croft is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm, with a late opening on Tuesdays at 11am. We are closed on Sundays.

There’s no need to leave your dog at home when you visit our charity shop, as we’re dog friendly! We kindly ask that your dog is on a lead at all times in our charity shop.
Yes! At our Emmaus Bristol shop in Stokes Croft we welcome quality second-hand donations, such as furniture, white goods and other large items. Absolutely. We accept clothing, bric-a-brac, books, small electricals and more, if everything is still in good condition. Please find these kinds of items to our Stokes Croft or Bedminster shops during opening hours.
Donations should be clean, functional, and in good, saleable condition. A good rule of thumb: would you buy it? Soft furnishings must have a valid fire safety label and children’s items need a CE label.
