Donate furniture

We always need furniture, white goods and large items!

When you choose to donate something to us, it must be of good quality and it must be in good condition. That is because our volunteer team of Companions need to sell each item donated to us in order to generate income for the charity. It costs approximately £30 per week to provide food for one Companion; just imagine how the money generated from the sale of your donation could support someone with lived experience of homelessness.

We currently collect from all over Bristol including Arnos Vale, Bedminster, Clifton, Dundry, Eastville, Frenchay, Horfield, St George, Westbury and Yate.

Fill in our donation enquiry form and we’ll get in touch to discuss your donation and book your collection.

Bristol and Bath collection zones

When considering whether an item is suitable for donation, it might be helpful to think of the following:

  • Does it need to have a safety label/marking in order to be re-sold?  This applies to all soft furnishings, glass topped tables and electrical goods.  Without the relevant label, we cannot accept some items, even if they are in exceptional condition.
  • Is it in a condition that you would consider buying?  To drop off an item or take advantage of our free-to-use collection service, your item must be free of defects or breakages and not show excessive wear.
